On 7 December 2009, SRSG Ould-Abdallah attended the 33rd session of IGAD's ministerial meeting in Djibouti. The SRSG used the occasion to appeal to the international community to enhance its support to the Government of Somalia for real results to show on the ground. He also welcomed the continuous support the regional organisation has extended to the Government of Somalia.
